In part 4 of the series "Marks of a Healthy Church" we see that the early Christians were living in hope. Today people put their hope in the almighty dollar not the Lord Almighty.

Hope is built on:

1) Jesus Christ is alive 1 Cor.15:12-19

2) Jesus is coming again. Does the church today live expecting the return of Christ?

He has rescued us from Hell and from the tribulation:

1) I Thessalonians 5:1-10 "God did not appoint us for wrath"
2) It is this hope that motivates us. It is the reason we should fish for men
