Ezekiel 18:31-32
In many places throughout the world today Christians are being killed for being followers of Christ.  While this level of persecution is not the norm in the United States it does tend to hold Christianity in low regard. What can we learn from the people of Judah? Listen as Dean Self explains.

* God has often held back judgment even though we brazenly disobey God.
* God took no joy in judging and calls again and again for repentance.
* Judah would not listen.
* Judah would be destroyed not because of the sins of their fathers but because of their own sin. (Ez. 18:24)
* Even the presence of Godly men could not save them. (Ez. 14:12-14)
* Her armies were helpless against her enemies.
* Her wealth could not buy another minute of freedom (Ez. 7:19)
* God would bring her enemies into Jerusalem to occupy their lands and home.(Ez. 7:21, 24)
* Four great punishments will fall on them (Ez. 14:21)
a) Always at war
b) Famine
c) Ravenous beast will overtake the land
d) Plagues
