Sun, 1 November 2009 Text: Hebrews 12:2-11 The Bible declares on many different pages that the child of God will endure many trials. How is the believer to respond in these situations? To discipline is to train. Correction, education, hardship, opposition and suffering. Three Truths: 1) Consider your example (vs. 3) - to think trough thoroughly. Who is our example? Why it is Jesus Christ. 2) Consider our blessings A) the protection (vs. 4) 3) Consider or benefits (vs. 10-11) - why are we corrected?
